Role Overview

As an Account Director at T1, you are a senior client leader and strategic partner. You bring clarity to complexity, guide high-performing teams, and build trusted relationships that enable ambitious, well-executed work.

You understand how integrated campaigns, experiential programs, and partnerships come together to serve broader client business objectives. You lead with perspective, balancing strategic thinking, operational discipline, and strong client stewardship to ensure work is delivered with quality, confidence, and impact.

In this role, you will own a portfolio of clients, lead teams across multiple programs, and play a key role in driving organic growth while strengthening how T1 delivers client experience.

 

 Responsibilities:  

  • Lead client relationships with confidence: serve as the primary senior point of contact for assigned clients, building trust, managing expectations, and providing thoughtful counsel through both opportunity and challenge.

  • Translate client objectives into integrated programs: guide the development and delivery of integrated and experiential campaigns that align to client goals, audiences, and the broader marketing mix.

  • Own account strategy and growth: identify opportunities to deepen relationships, expand scope, and drive organic growth across assigned accounts.

  • Guide delivery without micromanaging: oversee a portfolio of work through clear systems, processes, and accountability, enabling teams to deliver high-quality work while managing risk.

  • Own financial stewardship: lead account planning, revenue forecasting, and profitability management, with a clear understanding of cost structures, resourcing, and performance against targets.

  • Partner on production and execution: support and guide teams in vendor evaluation, logistics, contracts, permits, insurance, and execution planning across live events and activations.

  • Develop and lead people: coach, mentor, and support team members, providing clear feedback, direction, and growth opportunities aligned to individual and team needs.

  • Apply critical thinking and judgement: seek to understand before acting, connecting information, context, and impact to make sound decisions that serve clients, teams, and timelines.

  • Advance how we work: contribute to improving tools, processes, and ways of working that strengthen client experience and delivery across T1.

 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 6+ years’ experience in client service within a marketing, experiential, sponsorship, or integrated agency environment.

  • Proven ability to lead integrated campaigns and manage a portfolio of accounts across multiple programs and timelines.

  • Strong understanding of client servicing requirements, with the ability to anticipate needs and manage complex stakeholder relationships.

  • Demonstrated experience owning budgets, forecasting revenue, and managing account profitability.

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with confidence leading senior client conversations.

  • Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, and supporting team development.

  • Experience contributing to organic business growth through identifying and developing new opportunities within existing accounts.

  • Willingness to travel and be on-site for client meetings, events, and live activations as needed.

  • Base salary: $90,000-$125,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.
