Social + Creator Coordinator
Job Title: Social + Creator Coordinator
Terms of Employment: Vacant, Permanent, Full-Time (target start: September 2026)
Reports To: Social Strategist
Location: Toronto, Hybrid (in-office approximately 3-days a week)
T1 is a full-stack sponsorship and experiences agency—driven by purpose, powered by community.
In a sea of sameness, where brands are fighting to be seen and struggling to be felt, we create bold, unforgettable partnerships and experiences that ignite real communities. From strategic sponsorships to creative activations, we turn big ideas into moments that move people and make an impact.
Because in a world of skips, blocks, and being ignored—we build what lasts: trust, connection, and belonging.
Role Overview:
Social moves fast, and so does culture — this role exists to make sure T1’s clients are always part of the conversation, not chasing it. As our Social + Creator Coordinator, you’ll help shape day-to-day social strategy and content across our client roster, while playing a key role in scaling T1’s creator offering: from identifying the right voices to partner with, to briefing and managing them through to delivery.
This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on craft. You’ll need to be as comfortable building a content calendar, a community or briefing a creator as you are spotting a sports-related cultural moment worth jumping on. We’re looking for someone genuinely curious about platforms, trends, and communities — and organized enough to turn that curiosity into work that ships.
You’ll report to our Social Strategist and work closely with strategy, creative, account, and production teams, touching a range of client accounts across sponsorship and always-on social work.
Responsibilities:
Manage community engagement: Monitor and respond to comments, messages and mentions across client social channels, flagging opportunities and issues as they arise.
Support social strategy development: Help shape always-on and campaign-specific social strategies for clients, translating briefs into platform-right content plans.
Create and coordinate content: Build and maintain content calendars, shoot and edit content for social (photo, video, graphics), coordinate with production on larger asset needs, and manage day-to-day deployment across social channels.
Help scale our creator offering: Support creator strategy from the ground up — identifying and vetting talent, leading outreach and briefing, and managing relationships across co-creation, earned, and large-scale influencer programs.
Track trends and cultural moments: Research emerging platform features, hooks, formats, and cultural conversations to keep client strategies fresh and relevant.
Collaborate across teams: Partner with strategy, creative, partnerships, account, and production teams — and with inter-agency and external partners — to deliver integrated work.
Measure and report on performance: Pull insights from analytics tools to track content and campaign performance and translate findings into clear reporting.
Support paid social execution: Assist with smaller paid social campaigns, including boosting content and basic audience targeting.
Support T1’s own social presence: Dedicate roughly 10-15% of your time to helping manage and create content for T1’s own social channels.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of major social platforms (Meta, TikTok) and how to apply them to always-on and campaign strategies.
Comfortable building strategy and content around sports culture and fandom. You understand how fans engage online and can translate that into work that feels credible.
Experience or strong interest in influencer/creator marketing — from sourcing and vetting talent to managing relationships and campaigns of varying scale.
Comfort with tools like Meta Business Suite and TikTok Business Suite; fluency with community management or social content tools like Later, Canva, and CapCut is a plus.
Hands-on content creation skills – comfortable shooting and editing photo, video, and graphics for social, from concept through to final asset.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple content calendars and campaigns at once.
Comfort using GenAI tools (e.g. Perplexity, Claude, Gemini) to augment your work, not replace your thinking.
Experience in an agency setting is a plus, as is exposure to CPG brands, events, or conferences, full-funnel social strategy, or platforms like YouTube, Pinterest, and Twitch.
We know great candidates come from many paths. If your experience looks different from what is listed here but you believe you could succeed in this role, we encourage you to apply.
You’ll Thrive Here If You:
You’re endlessly curious about culture, platforms, and what’s next in social.
You like moving between strategy and hands-on execution — planning the work and then doing it.
You build genuine relationships, whether with creators, clients, or teammates.
You bring structure and organization to fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous work.
You care about doing right by the communities brands are trying to reach.
